As our Area Sales Manager, you will expand the profitability of our business by establishing and growing (new) customer relationships in Southern Europe. To this end, you are the right point of contact at all levels and for all parties involved, from management to operations and procurement. By implementing our sales and marketing strategy in line with the business plan, you will achieve, and preferably exceed, the set goals! Ready for this challenge?
You will proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs in order to build long-term relationships and partnerships with both existing customers and new prospects. Count on travelling at least 50% of the time within your area!
You will identify needs and commercial opportunities and provide a solution based on our product portfolio. In doing so, you will speak to both influencers and decision-makers.
In line with the business plan, you will prepare and manage commercial bids and offers with the aim of maximising results while minimising risks.
You will contribute to developing the sales plan and setting targets.
To participate in RFQs and/or other procedures, you will prepare and complete registration and qualification processes.
In everything you do, you ensure the necessary professional communication and follow-up, both to the customer and to Arodo.
You have a bachelor's and/or master's degree in a business economics field, complemented by at least 10 years of (relevant) experience. A background in Engineering is desirable.
You can demonstrate a successful trajectory in terms of sales results and targets and exceeding targets.
You have highly developed negotiation skills in an industrial B2B environment and understand the processes at this level.
As an expert in people management, you communicate fluently at every level and wield unique presentation skills.
A fluent knowledge (spoken and written) of French and English is an absolute must. Additional language skills, particularly Dutch, are definitely an asset.
